CrossFit Kids Monrovia offers a strength and conditioning program that focuses on inspiring kids to develop a lifelong love of fitness. The children learn to run, jump, lift, and climb through a positive and developmentally appropriate approach. CrossFit meets the needs of not only highly athletic individuals, but also of those children that wish to simply increase their fitness levels. Additionally, we encourage families to work out together and offer family class times. We offer CrossFit Kids classes for children ages 7-13 year round and the CrossFit Minis class for children ages 5-6 in the summertime.
Coach Kate Hunt is the director and lead instructor for CrossFit Kids Monrovia. She has been CrossFitting for over 6 years and competed in the 2007 and 2009 CrossFit Games as well as in the 2010 So. Cal. Sectionals. She is a former Division 1 college tennis player with twenty-five years of tennis coaching experience and ten years of classroom teaching experience. She has a passion for CrossFit and enjoys sharing that love of fitness with kids.
